Maintenance cover

Three levels of cover. They differ in how often we come, how fast an engineer is on site, and, at the top level, who carries the cost when something fails. The tier you need depends on what happens to your operation on the day the system stops, which is a question about your building rather than about your budget.

Why there is no price on this page

There is no price on this page, and that is deliberate.

The same tier costs different money on a single office than on a fourteen-site estate. A published figure would only invite the wrong comparison. Between a number and a number, rather than between what each one actually covers.

Pricing comes with a quotation after the health check, against the device count we actually found. Which is also why we will not quote cover without one.

The three tiers

The row that matters is the last one. Bronze and Silver differ in frequency. Gold differs in who carries the risk: up to a stated cap, a failure is our cost rather than an unbudgeted quotation arriving on your desk.

Cover, stated plainly, with the exclusions visible

Every tier is answered the same working day. What differs is how quickly an engineer is on site.

What no tier covers

Hard disksConsumable, with a predictable life. Replaced at cost, and we tell you when they are approaching it rather than after they fail.
Damage, theft and vandalismAn insurance matter. We will document it for your claim and quote the rectification.
Electrical surge and lightningOutside the system. Protection can be specified separately, and usually should be.
Work arising from third-party changesIf somebody re-ceilings a floor and moves eleven detectors, that is a project rather than maintenance.
Gold parts cover is capped at a stated proportion of the annual feeThe cap is printed in the contract and stated here, because a cap you discover later is worse than no cover at all.

What happens when you call

  1. The service desk answers, not a queue+91 22 4524 8010, or [email protected]. The person who answers has your site records in front of them.
  2. The fault is logged against your site historyNot a fresh ticket with no memory. Recurring faults are visible as recurring, which is how design problems get found.
  3. An engineer is assigned by site knowledge, not availabilityOn Gold, the named engineer or their documented second. Elsewhere, whoever knows the site.
  4. You are told what it is before we attend where we canMany faults are diagnosable remotely, and a call that saves a visit saves your day as well as ours.
  5. The visit is recorded and closed with a resultWhat was found, what was done, and whether the fault is resolved or suppressed. The distinction matters and most reports do not make it.

Common questions

Do you maintain systems you did not install?Yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked. Cover starts with a health check for exactly that reason: we will not take an annual fee for equipment we have not tested, because that makes us responsible for somebody else's neglect.
Can we start on Bronze and move up?Yes, and many do after the first year when they can see what the system actually costs to keep running. Moving down is equally possible.
What does multi-site look like? One contract, one specification, one point of accountability across the estate, with reporting rolled up rather than site by site. Most of our estate clients came to us with fourteen contractors and fourteen standards.

The rung below

Cover starts with knowing what you have.

We do not quote maintenance without a health check. Book the assessment and the cover conversation follows the report.

The assessment is chargeable, quoted against the site, and adjusted in full against the first year if you take cover. Where cover is not taken, the fee covers our team’s time on site and the report we leave behind, and the report is yours either way.
